PLEASANT HILL COMMUNITY GARDEN

Great Afternoon

Members of Mercer University's Student Government shared their talents at the Community Garden on September 5, 2008.

They harvested Italian eggplants, corn, cleaned plots and tilled a spot for planting turnips, kale, and rape, cut grass and weeded. We can again see the hill that is soon to be home of our fruit trees.

It is amazing what energetic, committed young people can do in an hour. We look forward to having them visit again.

Thank you John Buckner and group...May you have the brightest future and always be inspired to helping others.
