PLEASANT HILL COMMUNITY GARDEN

Empowering, Educating, Investing in Our Community

Spring planting went well. Two new gardeners joined us and planted their indivvidual gardens - collards, cucumbers, tomatoes, egg plants and okra.

The tomatoes flurished in all gardens this year but all other veggies were attacked by an  unknown "bug" by June. It destroyed everything in the individual gardens and the community garden. The only real success this summer was the brussell sprouts. This was our first attempt to grow them and they flourished.

The "Rose Garden" is beautiful. New names have been added

We are very proud of the butterfly mosaic. This fall plants that attract butterflys will be planted.

Welcome
